The greatness of art isn’t of the art at all, it’s in how the person receives the art. If two sloshing buckets of piss move you, they’re moving you, and that’s art.

there’s a difference between “being moved by art” and “listening to something really crappy just to be funny or piss off your friends”

i’ve been listening to MV and enjoying their great beats and perfect harmoney since long before i ever met you (or anyone else i know today). there’s nothing funny about it! i don’t think you are qualified to decide if someone is or is not moved by a particular piece of art. i would listen to U2 to make erica mad, but that’s different.
